Pork, mushrooms and plums
2 person main course – 30 minutes
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
10 grams butter
200 grams pork cut into dice
1 tablespoon plain flour
1 shallot or small onion, peeled and finely chopped
1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
200 grams mushrooms, cut into small pieces
300 millilitres plain cider (not sweet) or dry white wine
8 small purple plums (Quetsche or Czar) stoned and cut into four
Parsley to decorate and potatoes or rice to serve.
Preparation:
Heat the butter and the oil, then use them to sela the pork.
Scatter the flour over the meat. Heat for 3 minutes, stirring.
Add the onions, garlic and mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.
Add the cider. Lower the heat and cook for 10 minutes.
Add the plums and cook for a further 3 minutes before serving.
