Figs roasted with goat cheese honey and nuts
2 persons - starter – 20 minutes
Ingredients:
6 ripe figs, each cut in two
100 grams goat cheese (or other soft cheese)
1 tablespoon liquid honey
2 tablespoons port (or Banyuls or Madeira or Pineau de Charente)
Salt and pepper
2 tablespoons crushed nuts
Place 6 half-figs cut side up in individual over dishes.
Cut the cheese into twelve rounds and place one on each fig.
Scatter the nuts over the cheese. Spoon the port over, then the honey.
Season the dishes then bake for 10 minutes at 200°C
