Far Breton plum flan


Far Breton with prunes (plum flan)

6 person dessert – 75 minutes

 

Ingredients:

100 grams plain flour

75 grams caster sugar

2 eggs

1 drop vanilla essence

300 millilitres semi-skimmed milk

10 prunes, each cut in half, stone removed, rolled in flour

 

Preparation:

Mix flour and sugar together with a wooden spoon.

Add the eggs one by one, mixing gently to make a paste.

Add the milk and vanilla, mixing to form a smooth liquid.

Leave for an hour in the refrigerator.

Preheat the oven to 220°C

Brush an oven dish with butter.

Pour in the liquid. Add the prunes.

Cook for 30 minutes. Turn off the oven but don’t open the door.

Leave the flan in the oven for 30 minutes before serving.
