My Biography
Finding Inspiration in the Landscapes of Brittany and Beyond
Anne Morenn was born in London and spent her childhood moving from one English coastal town to another, following her father’s naval postings. This early nomadic life fostered a deep fascination with place, identity, and belonging recurring themes that would later shape her fiction.

She returned to London to earn her degree from King’s College London, then embarked on an international career that took her across Europe and beyond. Along the way, she accumulated a range of business qualifications and worked in insurance and investment roles in cities including London, Paris, Luxembourg, Frankfurt, Milan, Athens, Brussels, and Mumbai, as well as collaborating with technical teams in India. Each location added another layer to her understanding of people, cultures, and the ways individuals adapt, endure, and reinvent themselves.
Eventually, Anne settled in Brittany, on the northwest coast of France a region rich in history, Celtic traditions, and dramatic landscapes. The rhythms of life there, from medieval villages to coastal paths and ancient music, now provide both inspiration and setting for her writing.
My Books
When she is not writing, Anne enjoys gardening, exploring historic towns, attending organ recitals, and cooking with seasonal produce. Through her Romance in Brittany series, she explores themes of second chances, self-discovery, resilience, and the quiet power of love, all set against the luminous landscapes and layered histories of the region she now calls home.
